RoboNDIS Algorithm

Repository

This is a collation of my writings on RoboNDIS algorithms and defective systems over the best part of the past decade.

My focus in these writings is primarily the defective systems and ungoverned defective algorithms that automate harm. Many journalists, advocates, and scholars have approached me about access to this material, and while all of it is public, the collation of the material in one repository provides ready access to commentators.

The material that has been presented in various Parliamentary submissions is protected by Parliamentary Privilege, and forms the basis of many of the articles I have subsequently written.

It is my belief, that all NDIS problems are traceable to the original sin of the unlawful fiction of ‘primary disability’, and the wormholes of defective systems and algorithms that compensate and automate this unlawfulness. Simply changing the legislation to make lawful that which is unlawful, does not remove the layers of compensating unlawfulness.

All NDIS problems are rooted in these defective systems. Everything. Fraud. Data breaches. Cyber security. The inability to accurately forecast: in fact, the inability to forecast at all. Payment defects and irregularities. Defective and unlawful data design and management.

All this is not only affecting service delivery and harming hundreds of thousands of people who depend on it, but it fundamentally undermines policy responses and options.

It’s like squeezing a balloon: exerting pressure in one area, leads to blow outs in other areas and eventually rupture. No amount of legislation reform or tweaking will overcome this.

Literally, no one escapes.

What we have witnessed over the years: The NDIS out of control. Operating unlawfully. Obstruction of justice. Complexity and arbitrary decisions fed by worm holes of defective algorithmic systems. The NDIS numbers don't add up , and never will. Horrifically, the deaths *ARE* adding up.

In these submissions and articles are stories on the public record of the most sickening human suffering and death. I have not sought to catalogue or keep a census of the deaths - that was not the purpose of my investigations.

My focus continues to be on the defective systems and ungoverned use of algorithms which cause the harm and death. However, I am aware that others are keeping track of the death toll.

I am happy for my work to be used and referenced to build public awareness and revulsion as to what is happening, and hopefully to be a resource for a future Royal Commission into RoboNDIS.

In addition to my own writings in this repository, I have included articles and assets (such as podcasts and film) created by others who have referenced my work. Thank you.

I have also included a section at the end which acknowledges the excellent work of independent expert commentators, to give a sense of the extraordinary extent of the examination of use of algorithms by the NDIS NDIA. Specifically recognising the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision Making and Society; Electronic Frontiers Australia; the Australian Computer Society; The Saturday Paper; and InnovationAus.

The expert warning signals are

loud and clear

My Evidence

My Submission (Number 25:  ‘Ignoring the Risk of the Lack of Capability’) to the Senate Standing Committee on Community Affairs Legislation Committee Inquiry into the NDIS Bill (2024).
Inquiry Report tabled 10 June 2024.
This is my most recent submission, which amongst other things, provides a detailed explanation of the unlawfulness of the NDIS algorithms against sections of the NDIS legislation, resulting in a population-wide scale of automated harm. Literally, nobody escapes. Also again examined in this submission is the unlawful fiction of ‘primary disability - the original sin of the NDIS from which all other sins flow.

The book ‘Nadia: Politics | Bigotry | Artificial Intelligence’. By Marie Johnson. Available on Amazon.
Published 16 February 2024.
This insider story details the common origins of RoboDebt, RoboNDIS and Nadia and presents a forensic timeline of events, decisions and players.
This book, which is an Amazon Best Seller, is a must-read for anyone interested in understanding the enormous opportunity of Artificial Intelligence and the abuse that is happening through the ungoverned use of algorithms by the Australian Government.

My Submission (Number 137) to the JSCNDIS Inquiry into the Capability and Culture of the NDIA.
Inquiry Report tabled 16 November 2023.
This JSCNDIS Inquiry made findings of unlawfulness regarding the ‘administrative convenience’ of primary disability, which was an issue I had been pursuing for a number of years. Notwithstanding this finding, the NDIA CEO responded to my submission (see link) effectively saying I didn’t know what I was talking about.
